Hi, I'm Chris, a young, capable junior developer who just graduated from St. Clair College. I grew up in the Windsor Region all my life, and I love producing music, biking in the summer, and, of course, programming.
Despite my young age, I've been writing code since 13 years old and have been tinkering with technology for even longer than that.
I have a solid grasp of concepts such as object-oriented programming and can use Git and GitHub for version control and to collaborate on projects.
I strive to create clean, scalable, efficient, and maintainable code because, for me, coding is more than just a job; it's an art. I code because I love making things, and I want the things I make to be great.
The most impressive personal project I've created thus far has to be a JavaScript-based QR Code Generator. Initially jumping into it, I thought QR Codes were just text-based data, encoded into binary, but as I kept going, I discovered that QR Codes were pretty complicated. I had to learn Reed-Solomon error correction, among a few other complicated concepts, just to encode the data.
